Mike Soul
With a soulful range and an acoustic brand of RnB he has been
dominating air play on WBLS-FM in New York and UK underground radio
stations such as Bassline FM, Blues FM, Galaxy FM, Genesis FM and Y2K FM.
He has written and produced tracks for an array of UK artists including
Dionne (ex- member of the acclaimed RnB group Big Brovaz), as well as
performing at the Annual Hip-hop Festival 2004 in Switzerland. More
recently he has recorded/backed vocals on tracks for the likes of
Westlife, Shayne Ward and the X-factor 2007 Winner - Leona Lewis.
His inspiration for his songs is a combination of personal experience
and friends angst whilst his musical influences range from gospel greats
John P Kee, Kirk Franklin, Bebe and Cece Winans to soul legends Stevie
Wonder and Marvin Gaye, amongst many.
Active on the club circuit, Mike has graced venues with his
breathtaking live performances, including Mic Club@The Telegraph - Brixton
(voted Top 5 in the Metro for best "live" night, 2004), Isobar (South Bank
University), Vocool - Angel, Sesto bar (Xxpressions.com) Edgware, Hackney
Empire(291 Variety Show),G Lounge(Camden) and the popular Cobden Club
(Westbourne Park).
He has also performed at EA GAMES sponsored In the City – Manchester,
Nu Skool Movement -Wardour St, Teish O'day and guests@OPIUM, Yess stage at
Tottenham Pre Carnival,Soul Unique@ PlanB, Zeta Bar - Mayfair (Fashion

CARGO London-Cocobutta and the renowned Jazz Cafe where he claimed the
premier spot as winner of Xpressions 2007
Although unsigned, Mike Soul has a catalogue of tracks ready for his
forthcoming album which has gained immense interest from numerous labels.
With up-beat club tracks such as 'Left Alone' that touches on being
optimistic after a heartbreak, 'Hate to Love' documents the joys and pains
of falling in love whilst the acoustic 'Best Friend's Girl' highlights the
dilemma of a love triangle. "People will enjoy my music because it is true
to life. With catchy melodies and bouncy beats and of acoustic value."

His vocal and musical abilities date back to the tender age of eight
where his roots were established within the church and as a member of a
gospel choir and young pianist; he supported popular acts such as the

Rain) on several FM radio stations such as BBC Three Counties and over 35
radio stations worldwide as far as Australia. He has achieved support from
club DJ’s around the UK and Australia. The track has proved to be a
popular download on iTunes.
He is back with brand new single Look Into The Mirror.
